Intro to Drone Certification Part 2
This course is designed to provide an introduction to unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), also known as drones. The instructors will provide an overview of the Code of Regulations Title 14 Part 107—Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS) and establish if you need Part 107. Once determined, the instructors will walk you through what to expect in the Part 107 exam. Lastly, they will share the achievements of the "drones in code" initiative in the County of Riverside Code Enforcement Department's Drone Task Force. The team was recently developed to enhance the department’s mission of increasing public safety and the quality of life in partnership with communities when other means and resources are unavailable or are less effective. All UAS (drones) uses are in strict accordance with constitutional and privacy rights and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
Part 2 focuses on advanced drone operations, including practical flight skills, data collection techniques, and best practices for inspections. Participants will also review FAA Part 107 exam content, with insights to help them prepare for certification.
This session equips attendees with the confidence and expertise to integrate drones into their professional toolkit.
