Thomas Ingalls is a dedicated fire service professional with over 20 years of progressive experience in emergency management and community risk reduction. He has served in various roles, including Firefighter Paramedic, Engineer Paramedic, Fire Inspector, and currently as Fire Marshal and Emergency Manager.
With extensive experience in code enforcement and fire prevention, Thomas currently supervises the Community Risk Department, overseeing critical areas such as Fire Prevention, Emergency and Disaster Preparedness, Traffic and Parking Enforcement, Code Enforcement, and Animal Control. He collaborates extensively with city administrators, elected officials, and staff to ensure fire and life safety for occupants of new and existing buildings through comprehensive education, engineering solutions, and strict enforcement of safety regulations.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science from Purdue University Global and numerous certifications in fire service operations, prevention, and emergency management. He is an active member of professional associations such as the National Fire Protection Agency and the International Fire Marshals Association. Thomas is passionate about fostering a culture of safety and preparedness through effective interdepartmental collaboration and community engagement.
