Hyde is managing director of the International Code Council's Product Development Group where she develops books and seminars about the structural provisions of the International Building Code, International Residential Code, and International Existing Building Code. She has authored the Special Inspection Manual, co-authored the Significant Changes to the IBC and IRC series, and created seminars for each of these books as well as other structural topics. She holds an M.S. in Structural Engineering and M.Ed. in Education, as well as a P.E. license in California and Idaho.
