Christylla Miles
Assistant Director of the Development Services, City of Oklahoma CityChristylla Miles is the current Assistant Director of the Development Services in the City of Oklahoma City. Prior to this role Christylla Miles served as a Division Manager for the Department of Neighborhoods Inspections & Public Service Division with the City of Houston. Mrs. Miles has over 27 years’ experience in local and state government agencies with a background in public service. She has served in cities that range from 45,000 to over 2.3 million citizens. Mrs. Miles is also a former contract wage instructor with TEEX an extension division of Texas A&M University and a past Advisory Board Member of the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation Code Advisory Board. As an agent for local government, Mrs. Miles believes in providing superior customer service. Creating credible and accountable employees to provide excellent customer service to citizens is her goal. Mrs. Miles’ mission is to promote excellence by sharing her knowledge and experience. “We can’t just sit like a bump on a pickle and expect change to happen, change starts within. You can’t expect from others when you don’t have expectations for yourself.”
