A strong advocate for women in her field, Almarosa is the founder and current president of the Women in Code Enforcement Development (WICED) of California Chapter. She is also at the forefront of innovation, currently utilizing Artificial Intelligence as an educational tool within code enforcement, pioneering new methods for training and community outreach. Almarosa holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master of Public Administration, and she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public Administration, focusing on the transformative potential of AI in code enforcement as well as local government.
